Join the Richmond Public Interest Law Review for its annual fall symposium, which will provide a unique glimpse into the changing landscape of immigration and refugee law. The program will consist of several presentations, including an overview on current immigration and asylum law, barriers to language access, special immigrant juvenile status, and immigrant detention. Additionally, the symposium will host a panel of immigration judges and a separate presentation on the impact of the end of Chevron.

The symposium will include a networking lunch and an evening reception at the conclusion of the event. Registration is free but required, so register now. For those who cannot make it in person, a virtual attendance option is available on the registration page.

A companion issue dedicated to the same topic will be published in the spring. The companion issue will feature writing from presenters, as well as others across the country involved in immigration law.
